"Zorglubia" is a sculpture made of natural calabash wood which represents a small round alien with a small face and big green eyes.
She is part of the CalbinoOz family, sculptures made of calabash wood and surfine wood cellulose painted and varnished. Lightweight, the calabash has been patiently emptied of its contents, seeds and skin.
Like many CalbinoOz sculptures, she wears black and white striped overalls, made of surfine wood cellulose.
Zorglubia belongs to the legendary universe of the inhabitants of the planet Zorglub, like her friend Marcel-Zorglub 501 who has gone to live in the United States. Zorglubians are particularly intelligent and delicate beings, curious and attentive... .
Signed on the bottom.
Material : dried empty calabash wood, surfine wood cellulose, acrylic glass, acrylic paint and protective varnish.
