Sketching is my daily exercise. It keeps that part of my brain sharp. I often work these sketches fast and furious. In this way I capture a unique mood. Often lines are rough and scratchy, stains from water or paint may be on the paper, sometimes some folds or tears may be there. Public waiting areas are great places for me to sketch. Sadly I’m too often at hospital or clinics and I have plenty sketches from those places. This one was done at an airport while waiting for a flight. And that's me sketching at an airport... Slowly I am reaching into my trunk full of sketches, organizing them, uploading, and reworking them into paintings and some digital works. I just finished reworking this sketch into a painting, to be uploaded at a later date.
