Hand-carved stone sculpture on the theme of semi-abstract stone figures. I made 9 in this series of contemplative stone sculptures which focus on Head and Hands. The simplicity of the forms gives a quiet stillness to these carvings which are about peace and contentment..
I carved this piece with mallet and chisels then rasped and filed it smooth before sanding. This piece is finished with waterseal and is suitable for outside.
