PAINTING: Oil on canvas

"The painting depicts a sunset in the mountains. In the foreground, we can see a path that goes into the distance, along which the wanderer is walking with his companion-a donkey. But who is this wanderer? Perhaps it is a saint or a preacher who acts as a prototype of morality in the picture. Why is he leaving us? Or, on the contrary, does he lead us, like this donkey, forward to the light, through the gathering darkness of the approaching night? We see how small and almost invisible his figure is against the backdrop of the majestic mountains, his path from this seems heavy,long and almost insurmountable, but he does not give up, because the road will be mastered by the walking, and after the darkest night, dawn always comes...."
