Original artwork description:

A watercolour, painted on a cold afternoon in February. Dark shapes of people stand out against the light tones of the paths and statues.
I like the way the people passing through give life to the formality of the gardens. It is an elegant scene and the Tuileries provided an oasis from the turbulence of the gilets jaunes protests going on not far away.

Please note, the colour of the path is a little stronger in the photo than on the painting.

Materials used:

Saunders Waterford paper and Windsor and Newton watercolour paints
