The space between the mountains is like a space in time, a time forgotten or a time yet to come. It is a mysterious place of water and hills, flowing lines and graphic mountainous shapes where light tumbles in waves.

Created as a single image in camera on a blue morning when the hills on the Isle of Skye undulated on the horizon.

I am driven to capture the essence of a place with my camera, working with the colours and shapes to create images that connect us to the history of a place. I travel to remote islands, to places steeped in history, unspoilt beaches and wild rocky coastlines where I love to work in quiet solitude.

This is the canvas version but it can also be printed on paper or in other sizes. Just ask if you have any questions.

I photograph and print every image, I do not outsource any part of my workflow. Each canvas has been painstakingly crafted to ensure the true colours, resolution and texture are exactly as they should be.

About My Work
I believe in giving my clients beautiful artwork on luxury papers that hold their colours for a lifetime! For these special prints of my work I use dreamy, light textured Baroque Canvas and the highest quality inks. I print the canvases here in my studio to control of the colour representation at all stages to ensure you get a truly handmade image.
