There is also the other side of the Edinburgh castle, the less popular side... the more riveting side, I think. Especially it might be after a storm showing a dramatic sky with a double rainbow over the hill of the castle, small cottages and strikingly yellow rapeseed field. It is a marvellous, Scottish view.
The painting is double mounted and framed and its size is 20 x 15 x 3.5 cm. The colour of the frame is glossy grey. The frame of the painting allows it to stand on its own or to be hanged on the wall (see the photo of the backside of the frame), and there is no glass in front of the painting. A glass-front is not needed because the painting is very well (three times) varnished.
The painting comes with my certificate of authenticity.
This is a miniature painting, and its actual size may be much smaller than this one you see on your screen. I've coated the sturdy Strathmore Bristol board with thick (artist grade) acrylic paint and varnished it to protect against air pollution and UV radiation.
