About my art and inspiration behind my works of art:

My art entails surreal sceneries where I invite you, the viewer to interact with the inner world of the figures displayed in my work that symbolize our own unconscious states. I use photography as a medium to draw and paint surreal images, minimal and graphic in its aesthetic, rich in symbolism and emotions, focusing on themes inspired by human psychology, dreams and romanticism.
The objective of my art is to shine a light on the experiences of being and the state of mind those brings along. My subjects are anonymous so the viewer can envision themselves as the subjects, reflecting back on their own experiences and journey in life.

About my process:

My work is carefully planned in advance. Each image has been carefully sketched out prior to photographing it, before I go on to deciding the props, model, weather condition and location scout where the image will be photographed in. Once the image has been photographed I bring it into post-production to add my surreal touch to the images. I usually spend anywhere from a couple of days to weeks to create a single image of mine.

About my prints:

My work is produced on museum archival exhibition prints that lasts hundreds of years, signed and editioned by me on a 1 inch white border around the image on the front and delivered with a certificate of authenticity that states you have bought an original copy of my work of art. My work is produced on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta paper to create the painterly feeling my work brings about by the best printers in Sweden.

Materials used:

Hahnemuhle Fine Art Baryta paper 325 gsm
