I’m still trying to figure out why an oasis has us feeling mesmerized. A little nature dance in the midst of dry land. It’s like a magic wand has come and given us back our breath. The Oasis. Lines of wisdom and streams of joy when the rain finally comes falling down.
I rarely paint with green, but I felt drawn to use my jungle colour paints. It felt necessary after experiencing the fragile ecosystem of the oasis. Like a mini celebration of what those lush greens might represent, the strokes and warm palette invite the observer into a dreamy retreat.
