Sometimes you just need to focus. The series of artworks "The Lake" was born exactly at such a moment of reflection, immersion in oneself and the search for balance. The simple composition and restrained color palette allow the slightest pictorial nuances to be heard. The technique of monotype is used in the artwork. Layer by layer, the paint was applied fragmentarily, and after each stage I watched for a long time my impression from the artwork. The painting is imbued with a state of contemplation.
