Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

This is my contribution to the Friends of the Earth campaign to bring awareness to the plight of our bees.
My idea of the honey jar was to find a symbol to demonstrate exactly what bees signify to our world - it is without a doubt Life and all within a small jar. That is why this particular jar is brimming with every living thing, which would suffer as a consequence if there were no more bees.
