Artist's description:

Painted sketch. Small projects in A4 size can be great to work out ideas, and just as a way of keeping in touch with colour and paper. Here I also try to exercise a more loose approach to applying the color. The simpler result can be quite refreshing.
I’m intrigued by Thai temples, they tend to be ever so ornate. Here I focus on yes, giant brass bells, interpreted with loose brushwork for simple abstract expression.
The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a better feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting. Then there is the work in progress.
