Artist's description:

Indian dance. A fascinating subject I love to return to for the body language, and colourful outfits, bodily decorations and settings. Here I did a close up on a dancer, which I transformed in abstact. My inspiration is the movement and music which normally accompanies a classical Indian dance performance.
I wish to thank Sam for his inspiring and moving photos.

The close up picture is of higher resolution to be able to get a feel for the texture and brush strokes of the painting.
Third picture has me holding up the painting for perspective.
