Original artwork description:

A perfect painting to hang above your fire place, allowing you to contemplate the coldest season from your comfiest chair with your hands around a steaming cup of warmth.

As atmospheric a structure you could hope for. I came across these crumbling barns during a chilly winter walk in the Pays de la Loire region in France. It was simply chance that I had arrived at the time of day they were beautifully lit by the sun low in the sky.

So here it is for you, that silence experienced no where else but in the countryside.

A monotone painting with a touch of purple to elevate the blacks and greys.

Oil on board, ready to hang!

Materials used:

Acrylic and oil on board
