Original artwork description:

I’ve been mulling over this idea for a long time now… like years. In the process I lose the photo. But I’ve copied it. Then lose that. Then find the black and white photocopy… and so on.
Now I’m not quite sure how I managed to film in low pixels my doing the painting, yet forget to take good photos along the way. Sometimes it’s like that.
The idea is based on the picture, the capture of this precious pose while I was staying at Wat Pananachat (the foreigner’s forest monastery) in Thailand.
Here I want movement in the pose, and an interesting application of paint and colour.
This is a lovely paper, convenient size, just the right absorbency for this raw paper, and a thick paper.
The close up pictures allow you a better feel for the texture and brush stroke of the painting. Then three’s the work in progress near completion, and me with the painting for perspective.
Interested to have your idea painted in this style? Maybe a storyboard collage from a recent travel or event, portrait? Contact me.

Materials used:

Acrylic colours , Fabriano Rosaspina raw paper 285gm
