this is a plein air watercolours painting, was painted this march 2024 in XIDI Village in China, i wanted to bring the beauty and the simplicity of the place with it's dramatic view and the atmospheric view and colours.
In this watercolor, I've captured the timeless solitude of an olden structure, nestled in nature's embrace. Through expressive, free-flowing brushstrokes and a moody palette, I've sought to evoke a sense of tranquility and forgotten history. This painting is a testament to the beauty in the abandoned, the dance between man-made and natural worlds.
