Artist's description:

This was created after a recent fishing trip in July to Lapland, northern Sweden. The landscape is wild and untouched being only accessible by either helicopter or a long hike across country. As its just after midsummer, it doesn't get dark at night, you get a strange half light effect, which to me seemed perfect for watercolors which I tried to capture.

The whole area is so pure and clean, you can drink ice cold water directly from the streams and there is still snow on the mountain tops.

My partner, Joakim, wishes me to add that the fishing was excellent, there is a special fish, Röding which tastes amazing after being smoked. It is quite similar to salmon, but has a far more delicate flavor.
