Artist's description:

Based on Manet's Luncheon on the Grass. It's so scandalous! Why is that female teddy bear naked?

This work is giclée on dibond, with face-mounted acrylic and a float mount. This one is 48"x36" and is an edition of 3. There is also a 32"x24" edition of 5 on dibond and a 24"x18" edition of 25 on paper. Shipping prices are approximate and will almost certainly be lower.

This is a part of my Ursine Classics series, where I restage classic artworks with teddy bears. My interest is the tension between the gravitas of these works and the cuteness of the teddy bears, and how that tension impacts how we see both the scene and the bears.
