The Tattoo fixers is based on the Baroque artist Caravaggio's painting of 'Doubting Thomas'. I have reverently adapted the subject to reflect a more modern construct and the 21st century obsession with celebrity and tattoos. I use the original Baroque masters techniques of chiaroscuro with oil on canvas to achieve a mysterious, timeless atmospheric scene. Unframed.
