  • Biography
After completing a Bachelor of Arts degree at Camberwell school of Arts and Crafts in London I had a 30 year career as a story board artist visualizer, and designer of museums, exhibitions and visitor centres across the globe. I am first and foremost an artist, a painter. I have a traditional atelier approach to painting using techniques of the old masters and using the vast array of subject matter the Pembrokeshire landscape has to offer. Landscape, coastal scenes, nature and even still life’s of found objects that are all somehow connected to the story and soul of this unique timeless place I call home. My studio is situated on the foothills of the Preseli mountains surrounded by ancient monuments and rural life. We all invest emotions on to inanimate objects which have more than just a practical or decorative use, they have our memories attached to them and of previous owners who have etched their marks on to them with endless love and use. Objects can say much more about someone's life than a portrait. My philosophy is to give these unwanted things a new life by using them in a still life painting or finding a new home where they can be appreciated once more.
