The painting is the second of a triptych, but each painting can also stand alone. It is born of love and nostalgia for the homeland of Tuscany, which the artist sees with the eyes of fantasy. It expresses the desire to escape, like a flight over a billowing world of dazzling colours, always inviting and never aggressive. This work, like the others, follows the idea of landscape as escape, as a dream, and as a return to childlike naivety. To see the world through the eyes of a child is to turn fantasy into reality and to be able to surprise oneself again and again.
