Mt. Kanchenjunga is the third highest peak in the world. This painting is inspired from an early morning view from a peak of a small village in West Bengal, India. It was the last day of our trek and we had a heavy heart, rightfully compensated and consoled by the mighty range, popularly known as the "Sleeping Buddha". The stark contrast of the orange grasses against the cool icy range gives one the early morning vibes of the mountain peaks.
