Original artwork description:
This is a painting of a beautiful Summer sunset, which was witnessed and captured on camera by one of my friends on her walk in one of the parks in St Albans back in June 2020. I loved the photograph she took and she kindly let me paint it. I was inspired by the contrasting dark colours of trees and bright fiery colours of setting sun, the sense of the piece and quiet of the end of the day and the warm tones of the summer evening.
