Artist's description:

There are industrial estates the length and breadth of Britain, typically comprising a charmless collection of units of between 500 and 2000 square feet, built down to a price. They are usually found in areas which allow staff to walk or cycle into work from home. These days there are often several units “TO LET” as assembly in Britain ebbs away. Yet like almost everywhere, they are worth visiting. On these estates are local firms who improvise, juggle deadlines and struggle on a shoestring. It is a fearsome situation for anyone to take on and yet you may find help, good cheer and something well done.
