Original artwork description:

A rustic still life painted directly onto raw canvas for a soft, brushy effect. A jar containing sprays of hawthorn berries rests in an alcove amongst several golden nashi pears; the rich hues of the fruit and berries contrasting strikingly with the dark grey-black ground. I have left the edges of the canvas bare, with the brushstrokes trailing off at the edges for a rustic, painterly effect.

This canvas is mounted onto wooden board and is ready to hang, and could be framed if desired.
