An expressive and fluid, abstract oil painting.
This piece was inspired by the flow of people through Waterloo Station on a busy day. Working from charcoal sketches, made whilst observing the crowds from the upper level, I then progressed to oil sketches and created this final piece in my studio.
Layers of oil paint have been carefully built up and the neutral colours have been punctuated with bright notes, providing contrast and representing the variety of colours that stand out when observing large groups of people.
This artwork is painted in oils on a linen board and is signed and dated on the back. This piece could be displayed unframed or framed and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
This artwork will be carefully wrapped and shipped within 5 working days.
