Original artwork description:

This is a small postcard size watercolour study of a view seen from the park in Staplegrove, an area on the outskirts of Taunton, Somerset. It was created during the era of lockdown, when we were allowed in the UK to go out for an hour for exercise.

This small watercolour painting was created during one of my cycle journeys during these hours, capturing the trees seen from the picnic benches in the village of Staplegrove.

It was a place to chill and relax during this strange time.

Materials used:

Watercolour on watercolour paper
