Original artwork description:

St Ellyw's is a remote 13th century church lost in the Brecon Beacons, in fact so remote that the 14th century blood-red Rood screen and loft are still in place, unmolested by the Reformers or Cromwell's men. The Rood or cross, however, wasn't so fortunate and all that's left of its existence is a ghostly unpainted mark on the screen. The church is redundant but is still used for concerts and events and is now in the care of The Friends of Friendless Churches. The church is in the care of 'The Friends of Friendless Churches' and I will donate £40 from the sale of this painting to the Friends to help them continue with their fine work.

Created using pen and ink wash on quality Bockingford 300gsm acid-free paper. The painting has quite a large margin at the bottom but this can be lost behind a mount during framing, or even trimmed as required. The painting is supplied unmounted and unframed and will be sent in a postal tube. FREE POSTAGE TO UK BUYERS.
