Original artwork description:

Dragon snake is an ethnic sculpture on reworked tree branch wood depicting a small chimerical dragon snake, with the pallor and rimmed eyes of a Tim Burton-style gothic world.

It belongs to the Ostreïdes series, which expresses the complexity of life in its search for the most appropriate form for survival, as well as the wisdom of the spirit applied to the transformation of matter.

It has been gouged out of the cleaned wood, filled in with surfine wood pulp to reconstruct certain curves, and tinted with an ivory acrylic shade.

The two delicately curved legs are made from a natural ray egg capsule washed up on a beach.
