This is one of a series of original oil paintings inspired by my visual memories and sketches of a unique stretch of Cornish coastline, Sennen Cove. Sitting in the dunes above the beach, mesmerised by the early evening sunlight dancing on the water, watching the silhouetted surfers paddle out amongst the waves. Responding to the landscape, I can feel the soft sand under foot and the dune grasses brushing and swaying in the sea breeze, evoking a calming sentiment to savour in this contemplative piece.

The painting is developed with expressive palette knife strokes, with layers and texture to create depth and vibrancy. I seek to capture the essence of that moment in nature. This painting is from my Seascapes Collection for sale on-line EXCLUSIVELY on Artfinder.

Executed with Winsor & Newton professional oil paints on high quality stretched canvas, with universal primer, and with softwood stretchers. Canvas size is 60 x 60 cm with edges of 4.5 cm depth. The image is extended on the sides of the canvas creating a 3-D effect. The canvas is signed on both the front and the back, and there are 2 D-rings attached to each side of the softwood stretchers strung with strong cord so that this work is READY TO HANG to sit flush against the wall, with no need for any further framing, offering a contemporary finish to the artwork.

Upon purchase, your special painting will be carefully packaged with protective corners over the edges, and packaged with lots of bubble wrap, then lovingly packaged in a cardboard box specially designed for packaging paintings and sent via Royal Mail Parcelforce Worldwide with tracking and signed for.
