Artist's description:

Once you get up to the top of Harter Fell it’s basically a ridge walk all the way to High Street and then back down Riggindale Crag.

Very good on a day like this one (July this year)

The tarn you see poking out behind Small Water is Blea Water and you get good views of that on the way back down, as well as a great look down Haweswater.

I love all the little tarns in The Lakes and this one, even though it’s small and cute, looked really blue as if somehow it was deeper and more mysterious than it looked. That’s the main reason I wanted to paint it.

This is an high quality Giclee print. Printed on Hahnemuhle German Etching 310gsm art paper using Epson UltraChrome HDX Wide Gamut Inks

Materials used:

Initial sketch in pencil scanned into PC, Wacom tablet and Artrage software
