My heritage lies in the Rhondda Valleys, an (ex) coal mining area of South Wales. This linocut portrays the winding gear at Silverwood Colliery which was situated between Thrybergh and Ravenfield in Yorkshire, England.

The print, one of 25, is 23 x 17cm on a 30 x 20cm sheet of acid free paper.
