A hand carved, hand printed linocut of a backstreet in Brighton, produced during the 2020 Covid 19 lockdown and partly inspired by scenes of wild goats taking back the unpopulated streets of Llandudno. In this case a family of zebra are ambling past.
Printed on acid free 250g Somerset Satin cotton rag, with deckled edges, using four colours of linseed ink, printed in reduction whereby a portion of the lino is carved away between layers.
Each of these prints is hand made and there'll be some minor variation.
These prints will be sent in sturdy postal tubes, wrapped in acid free tissue.
This version was made in an edition of just five, signed and numbered on the front.
Print size - 40 x 60 cm
Paper size - 56 x 76 cm
