In the Sierra mountains sits the largest valley and my favorite areas for painting outdoors plein air. Here I captured the mood of depth using a rich pallet of color saturation. The barn is subdued giving attention to the farmhouse on the right. Sierraville valley houses mostly small cattle ranches with the mighty Sierra Nevada Mountains encircling them.
