About 20 kms from the capital of Tunisia, along the Mediterranean coast, lies the highly picturesque town of Sidi Bou Said. Known for its cobbled streets and blue-and-white houses, Sidi Bou Said sits on promontory overlooking the sea with al fresco cafes, Tunisian eateries, and small art galleries. It's whitewashed stucco houses all seem to have a different style of colourful doorway.
