Steve White is an exceptionally talented painter. The piece is even more striking in person. It's an easy painting to get lost in. Studying little details that I hadn't noticed before. Each apartment seems to have its own story. Its own direction to take your imagination. No people are depicted, but you can tell many lives are taking place on these balconies and behind these windows. From the title, it feels like Steve White's intention was to capture the building. He could have easily taken a more idealized approach, but instead, he chose to show that this building is lived in. And that life comes through. Steve was responsive and very easy to work with. He expertly packed the painting and shipped it immediately. I had zero issues with delivery. I hung "Unité d'habitation, Berlin" in my living room so I can see it as often as possible. It has already brought so much joy to my home and me. Many thanks!

Hi Charles, Thanks for your kind words! They are greatly appreciated. I am glad the painting made it to you safely and is now up on your wall for you to enjoy. Yes, you read me right: I just wanted to feature the building, ostensibly not the prettiest building in the world, but with the splashes of colour and the sunshades and the reflections of the sky and trees, it just made an incredibly pleasing and intriguing image. I love it too. Thanks again for you comments and I wish you all the best! Kind regards Steve
