Many LA neighborhoods are bordered with Hawaiian palms. So dramatic and showy! I couldn’t help but think of these skinny palms as chorus lines, waiting for the curtain to go up as the sun sets. Or are they the audience, settled in their seats as the house lights dim and the curtain rises?

My Artistic Inspiration
I’m a cityscape oil painter passionate about bright colors and deep contrast. My inspirations are the fluid light, dramatic vistas, quiet neighborhoods and stark landscapes of California and the Southwest. I paint with a vibrant palette and expressive brushstrokes to share my vision of an essence of the urban experience. I hope that the viewer will be inspired to see the world around them in a new, beautiful light.
