Artist's description:

Fond memories of family holidays in Scotland on the Abernethy Estate on Cain Gorm where we have spent many a peaceful and reflective hour walking through the pine forests and climbing Munroe's revelling in the way the light changes as the seasons progress and the elements dictate. I have tried to capture some of the brilliant colours I have experienced and with my light, expressive brush strokes evoked the feeling of movement in the wafting of long grass. This particular painting reflects the vibrant orangey red roof of 'The Sheiling' so typical of Scottish rural buildings
