The model inspires the work. A strong female presence. Dark hair, flowing. A black coat thrown down revealing the figure. Set off against a strong pink background.
Black conte has been used to outline the figure and create tone. Ochre has been used to give highlights.
White, ochre and black conte pastel on a pink card 29.5 x 34 cm (c. 12 x 113.6"). It will be wrapped in glassine and sandwiched in cardboard depending for delivery with a temporary mount to protect the picture.
Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing.
