Work on the theme of Saint Sebastian, a Roman martyr executed by order of the sovereigns for having supported his co-religionists in their faith and performed several miracles. First tied to a post and pierced with arrows, he was finally stoned to death after miraculously healing the first time.
For this one the arrows are represented in the form of tattoos.
Travail sur le thème du Saint Sébastien, martyr romain exécuté sur ordre des souverains pour avoir soutenu ses coreligionnaires dans leur foi et accompli plusieurs miracles. D'abord attaché à un poteau et transpercé de flèches, il est finalement tué à coups de pierres après avoir miraculeusement guéri la première fois.
Pour celui ci les flèches sont représentées sous forme de tatouages.
