My favourite time during a recent visit to the city of Salzburg in Austria was walking through the narrow streets at nighttime. The occasional street lamp of lit doorway cast pools of light and reflections against the architecture with interesting shadows and framed with the highly decorative shop signs. It just all had to be drawn as soon as I got home.
