Original artwork description:

This picture was done at the same time as the first larger painting at the same location. A few years ago I noticed that as I paint ”en plain air” one of the issues was having to wait for paint to dry or having excess paint leftover, so I started to experiment with doing more than one picture at a time (one larger and one smaller). This not only allows me to test colours, tones, textures and compositions before applying them to the larger picture, it also allows me to be looser and more free with my mark making, sometimes leading to unexpected results. On this trip I decided to try working on black paper and I like the different feeling it gives these smaller expressive paintings.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
