As the sun goes down and the lights come on over the land, Red Kites float across the sky towards their roosting sites. Silently arriving and settling in for the night. Gloaming is an amazing type of light, soft and mauve and gauzy just before dark, here I have used these soft colours to evoke that beautiful atmosphere.
Framed in natural lime wood.
Materials used:
Acrylics, pencil, ink, wooden painting panel, cold wax.
