Black and white version of Road Runner. An embodiment of freedom, strength and determination... Another original print from the Running series, created in my home studio during lockdown.

This is a drypoint, a form of etching where the image is created by scratching directly onto the plate. Since no acid is needed, the metal isn't dissolved as on an etched plate, but is thrown up on each side of the line, creating a thicker, soft line. This wears down with each successive print, hence the small edition of 9 prints.

I've left ink or polished it off in areas to create the tone - this is the painterly mono printing part of the process. Each handcrafted print is unique and variable and numbered E.V (Edition Variable)

Orders are wrapped in acid-free tissue, flat-packed between board in a stiffened envelope and dispatched signed and tracked within four days.
