Oil on mahogany wood panel. Capturing the natural colours, patterns and textures found in nature have always interested me. A simple red onion has all the beauty and complexity of a flower. Following in the tradition of the old masters atelier techniques I painted this on mahogany wood taken from an antique door panel.
