The “Racket Tailed Treepie” (Nov 2012) is one of a limited edition in a series of ten casts.
The sculpture was created in chavant clay, moulded in silicon and cast in oxidised bronze cold-cast resin, then hand-finished and waxed. This work was sculpted and moulded by the myself in Ashwell, North Hertfordshire, England, and was cast by Articole Studios Ltd, Radwell, North Hertfordshire.
Racket Tailed Treepie's Dimensions
Height: 405 mm
Width: 140 mm
Weight: 850 g
The Racket Tailed Treepie will hang flush against the wall as it has a recess in the back to allow for the nail/screw. Please ensure the nail/screw is secured firmly into the wall, due to the weight of the piece. As stated above this piece is made from Bronze Resin and can therefore be hung either indoors or outdoors.
The Racket Tailed Treepie is an original design of mine and is part of a series of bird sculptures. This series also currently includes an Owl, a Pheasant and a Toucan.
All my pieces come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
