I discovered this scene on one of my morning bike rides. The random splashes of red poppies among the brilliant yellow of the rapeseed made for an impactful scene. I used vigorous and energetic pastel strokes to indicate a blustery summer’s day, using a portrait composition to lead the eye through the picture.
This work is presented double mounted ready for framing. It will be dispatched cello wrapped and carefully packaged in an appropriate strong cardboard box protected by bubble wrap.
