Original artwork description:

Lyon may be famous for being the Roman capital of France or it's incredible food or for being the city of light during the Fêtes des Lumières, but it is also the city of the skateboard.

Countless skateable routes snake their way through the city and beyond, giving the skater unique insights on the cities best views. I've snaked through the city's arteries in every possible direction, each new passage revealing more of Lyon's hidden history.

Screeching to a halt on a clear February day, this view from under Pont Wilson was one that begged to be painted. The gloom and brutality of the bridge's underside broken by the turquoise flow of the Rhone.

Oil on board, ready to hang!
