Original artwork description:

This week's serving of nest dwelling egg-layer is the Rock Dove, or what you'll likely know as the street-walking city pigeon.

These pigeons are the perfect example of something beautiful being overlooked through its ubiquity. Just look at the spectrum of colour that radiates from them like a vaporwave rainbow. They are everywhere, but when was the last time you stopped to really watch one?

Painting in acrylic on a page of 'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady'
