Original artwork description:

Peng
In "Peng," The power of Tai Chi comes to life on a 16x20 canvas. Drawing inspiration from this ancient martial arts meditation practice, the artwork exudes a captivating energy that engages both the eyes and the mind. The essence of Tai Chi is captured as the arms and hands move in circular, rhythmic motions, gracefully opposing each other, forming a ball of potent energy.
Vincent's movement around the canvas is evident in the texture he imparts to the painting, incorporating his unique rhythm writing techniques to give tangible form to the ethereal energy generated by the Tai Chi "peng." As colors of violet, orange, and yellows swirl and dance around the canvas, they evoke a sense of motion and vitality, mirroring the fluidity of the Tai Chi practice.
By using the forces of Yin and Yang, a fundamental principle of Tai Chi, he makes expression through thick and thin black and white circular textured rhythmic strokes. The contrasting elements blend harmoniously, symbolizing the delicate balance between opposing forces that lie at the heart of Tai Chi philosophy.
The artwork not only captivates the viewer's attention but also offers a profound sensory experience. The bursts of vibrant colors and the rhythmic textures evoke a surge of energy, akin to the feeling one experiences during the practice of Tai Chi. Yet, amidst this powerful vitality, the painting retains a tranquil and calming ambiance, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in its soothing presence.
